Focused by design

Gift, estate, and trust matters arise at pivotal moments.

Significant wealth transfers, fiduciary appointments, and post-death administration require precision and coordination.

GET Compliance is intentionally limited in scope. The firm concentrates on the technical tax compliance and accounting requirements that follow a well-designed estate plan.

Collaborative in practice

How engagements typically begin

01

Introduced through trusted advisors

Many engagements originate through attorneys, wealth advisors, fiduciaries, or CPA firms seeking specialized support on discrete technical matters.

02

Clearly defined roles

Each engagement proceeds with a clear scope, defined responsibilities, and agreed timelines so the professionals involved can work in coordination.

03

Complementary by design

GET Compliance functions as a specialized resource, not as a replacement for the attorney, fiduciary, wealth advisor, or CPA already serving the client.

Meet Kyle

Technical depth, explained clearly.

Kyle brings nearly 30 years of experience as a CPA—including over 20 years focused exclusively on gift, estate, and trust tax compliance.

He provides specialized tax compliance services for gifts, estates, and trusts, working closely with attorneys, executors, fiduciaries, wealth managers, and other advisors to carry out the technical requirements that follow a well-designed estate plan.

His role is to ensure that the tax compliance side of estate planning is handled accurately, thoroughly, and in alignment with the underlying legal documents. Much of his work involves translating complex estate planning structures into clear, compliant tax filings, while helping clients and their advisors understand how those structures function from a tax perspective.

Kyle is frequently referred by professionals who value both technical depth and clear communication. In addition to preparing tax returns, he explains the tax implications of estate planning documents and supports advisors in navigating complex compliance situations with confidence.

Although his experience was built over decades of practice in California, he now serves clients nationwide through GET Compliance, a South Dakota LLC.
